I tackled an Art to Part job which resulted in a finished piece and real-world exprient. The question I posed, is can we get something finished from a phone conversation to a finished piece in less than 48 hours? The answer is yes! And it’s multiple pieces at that.
I have in my possession 5 completed pieces all in various sizes and mediums. I have solids, STL’s, SLS prints and SLA prints. I decided to capture most of my process via the usual suspects, Dropcam, Camtasia, and my phone and then edit all down into 8 minutes with some cheesy free music for a “IT IS POSSIBLE” moment. It is definitely amazing times that we live in. I am one of the few that say that they really love their job.
